"Beer cans and cigarette butts were scattered around the hot tub at our rental upon our arrival. Bathroom lights were not working downstairs. Projector light was broken. Texted management regarding these issues and was told maintenance would come the next day to fix the bulbs. The next day came and went with no word from Moose Management. I texted them in the evening to follow up on the issues and they said maintenance would not come bc they had to respond to emergencies but would be there the next day. The next day comes, no word from them again so I text again to follow-up and they text that “the bulbs have been fixed”. I let them know the bathroom bulbs were, in fact, not fixed to which they then backtracked and said the projector bulb was fixed and that “it’s not a normal bulb so it has to be special ordered”. I asked them why I was having to follow up on all of these issues myself and why they told me one thing when it wasn’t true. Their response “it has been one day since you reported the issues” (actually 2). After calling them out on the poor communication, management and follow-up they remained defensive and said “we will not be responding further”. It’s apparent at this point that they are unable to communicate, as they put it themselves. Wouldn’t recommend booking through this company. I’m sure there are many others in the area with better management. Update* received a text from them that actually nothing was fixed. After reading the low star reviews and the management responses it’s very clearly a pattern with Kimberley B. What a shame that the management company can detract from some of these otherwise enjoyable homes. We own a luxury home that we rent through a professional management company and we would be horrified to know if our management company responded the way they did to us to our renters/customers."
